Christin asked...

What is the most shocked you remember being at seeing a news headline?

Okay, what is, and I guess this can be across your entire life, but what is the most shocked you remember being at seeing a news headline? A seeing a news headline? Yes, the most shocked you remember at seeing a news headline, and I think this can be across your entire life. Well, there was one, when you got the newspaper, if there was something special, the news boy would come around, teach house that subscribes, and say extra, extra, read all about it. I'm trying to get to the Bloomberg baby was one of those, and well then Pearl Harbor, but Pearl Harbor, we didn't hear it from the news, we heard it on the radio, yeah. Well, I think that counts as a news headline, so you'd say the most shocking, I think with this question. That was big, because that, I remember, we didn't hear about until five o'clock in the afternoon, and it happened in Pearl Harbor at eight o'clock. Katie was in New York, I forgot what she was doing there, something, and then when she walked in, we had already just heard it, it was a big thing, and then the next day in school, on December 8th, when President Roosevelt proclaimed war, we had a big assembly, yeah. Okay, yes, that's correct. And then a lot of people volunteered, you could be 17 and volunteer for the Navy, an army had to be 18, and nobody was 18 yet. Wow.
